Hello WHT community!,
Has anyone here had any experience using PhpCow News? I am attempting to help a client build a review website and came across this software as a possible backbone structure. It would cost nearly 500.00 so I would like to make sure that this is reliable. Also on the design side of this, has anyone skinned this? Any comments would be greatly apprecieated.

Thanks,
Mike

WOW! 500.00! I take it that is in USD? Still a lot of money tho.

There are other systems that could be used. For example built2go.com sell complete website systems, one of which is a movie review site.

You could easily modify the site to be a review site for anything, then modify the template to suit the sites basis. It would also be a lot cheaper than 500.00.

Worth thinking about right?

I would be careful with phpcow - from what i've heard they arent very good with customers and are very agressive towards customers using competing software.

Does anyone else have any actual experience using this product? I am also considering using it and from what I have seen thus far, they have the best feature set to be had. I have no problem paying $500 for a professional script and I know others don't as well, so money shouldn't be a factor in if it is good or not.
