I found wisehosting by checking out this site, so I know their are some people here that can help.


The server is great, im having no problem with them.. But My site is having some downtime, and I can't reach the wisehosting.net server... Could someone tell me the problem.


Do you know if they would be upgrading that would cause this, or a big problem has occured..

Apparently the URL is banned from the forum.

But, it has been my observations that hosts are not banned for no apparent reason. They must first blantantly violate forum policies.

Well, I hope they come back up soon, if not, im going to be kind of angry haha, I got things going on.

Down for four hours now and I am getting pretty annoyed since I only just moved there to get away from another host with massive downtime.

Is there a host out there with similar unlimited domain plans that DOESN"T fall over all the damn time?

were not banned itll be fixed as soon as chicken gets my pm.

Sina, how many servers do you have? It seems like when the main site is down mine is out too.
You really should have a status report and email link on another machine.

Upgrading Linux 7.3 on the mother server which had our main site on it failed. The server is not up and we've been doing anything to get a hold of the person in charge and nothing yet :mad:

The mother server is in another DC which we still have the option to bring other servers up which we will if it does not get to work within a short time.


Mean while were taking advantage of this downtime to upgrade everything on all servers however we still preffer REDHAT 7.2 for our clients.

I don't usually post things in forums but in this instance, I had to tell this story. A couple of month's ago, I was having trouble with my old host. My site was down more than it was up. I cancelled my account and since then I continue to get billed for hosting. I chose to host with wisehosting, mostly because of the information provided in this forum. Since then, I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever!!!! Today, May 18th 2002, I received a note regarding wisehosting upgrading their control panel. My wife inadvertantly thought it was a message from my old host and replied to the email stating that we no longer had an account with them, we continue to get billed and that we had contacted our State's Attorney General (email me for the company). Wisehosting did what any good legitimate business would do. They advised that they had not received any emails from me and kindly refunded my money and closed my account. When I got home and learned what had happened, I contacted wisehosting and advised them of the mistake. Within minutes, I had received a reply accepting my apology for the mishap and letting me know what I had to do to re-establish my account. In less than an hour, everything was done and back up and running. As a business man and having hosted with several companies over the past 6 years I can honestly say that I have never had such a good experience. If you want dependablility, affordability, great fast customer support and friendly service, I highly recommend wisehosting.

I didn't do a whois on the names, however I can tell you that neither wisehosting nor wisehost is blocked at this time.

we are just wisehosting.net, nothing to do with the other wisehosters.

We might be buying off wisehosting.com though.

For the 2nd night in a row, their servers are once again down. Anyone else hosting with them? Anyhow I really wish webhosting companies would send out e-mails to their customers during scheduled or UNscheduled downtimes. If I hadn't been checking, I would've never noticed it going down. :/

Yeah, I noticed it down last night too but it wasn't down for very long. I hope not long again tonight either. This is the 4th time this month that I know of. I have been very happy with them but this stuff is making me nervous. I hope they get whatever this is that keeps causing problems fixed soon!

Short time down again like it was last night. Don't know why down, but at least not very long.
