What is easiest control panel to use: the cobalt control panel, Plesk, or WebAdmin?
I am not a system admin but want to start leasing a managed dedicated server.

I am assuming you mean webmin, not webadmin.

If you can afford plesk has the most power, cobalt UI is easy to use but doesn't have reseller support. Webmin is an extremely powerful system administration tool. However, it doesn't do hosting well.

In general, if you want more information quickly, you should search the archive of the forum.

I heavily reccommed plesk. It is feature intense, and to the best of my knowledge more secure then the other control panels.

The Cobalt control panel is ok but it only runs on Cobalt Raq's

Webmin is NOT a hosting control panel and it will get you into trouble if your arn't careful with it.

Plesk is your best bet if you get a regular linux server.

If you go the Cobalt route wait for the new Raq 550s to come out, their control panel looks nice. Much better than the Raq4 panel

If you are on a RAQ webmin is an excellent addon, but be careful what you use it for. As the Cobalt GUI directly accesses a lot of the services etc., on your server if you try using Webmin to do certain things you can end up deep in the ***** . Having said that, Webmin DOES give you access to feature that are invisible to the Cobalt GUI eg. cronjobs.
The parallel project Usermin is producing some nice addons that can go nicely with the Cobalt GUI for endusers.
In any case, as mentioned before, it isn't a hosting panel really.
