I am still quite new to this, and was wondering if anyone can provide some information.

I have also browsed dotster.com and I am planning on contacting them to get some more information.

Similar to the dotster reseller accounts, exactly how does it work? Are you on your own or still somewhat attached to them (like if dotster were to go out of business, does that mean you too are out)? If someone can tell me more about "resellers" it would be appreciated.

I was interested since you can get a fairly decent price on domains as a reseller, and I also know people that may be interested in registering domain names fairly soon.

Any info would be appreciateed.

If you are a "reseller" of domains you actually don't have anything to do with the domain.. If the registrar goes out of business you are not responsible but I would suggest going with someone that is ICANN that way if something should happen the domains are protected and so are your customers. Go daddy has a pretty good reller program you have a lot of control over the domain Name Servers and can add lots of different stuff.. Contact Sean Parsons, tell I sent you. :)

They are great to work with

Thanks for your comments GWDGuy.

So basically, as a reseller, you are just referring customers to the registrar (lets say GoDaddy). So in a way, you are just a middle person and in the end, the customer will in a way, deal with Godaddy and not you? Is this somewhat correct?

Also, would you happen to have Sean Parson's email address so that I may contact him? Thanks.

Avoid GoDaddy,
They are having some pretty serious legal problems right now. The last thing you want is your domains defaulting to network solutions when Godaddy is convicted of Fraud.
