Ok I have trouble with Paysystems and emailed MCHost, Paysystems, and I posted on the MChost boards. Marc tells me to post a ticket and I do. (7542). He asks for the Paysystems number and I give him it. In the mean time Paysystems says they will look into the problem. And when they fix it they will recharge me. Well I tell Marc this and he says ok if they recharge you fine.

Why would they recharge me if they TOOK THE MONEY OUT ALREADY? I just went to check my email and all my accounts are SUSPENDED because of MCHost and Paysystems stupid error.

Now what do I do? I paid $35 for a suspended account!!!

I wonder how many other MCHost customer who posted to the MCHost forums that they had the same problem, lost their accounts?

I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what happened.
Could you elaborate?

Paysystems can be a bit stubborn sometimes, but they do work things out within a reasonable amount of time. I wouldn't worry about that part. I am surprised that your accounts are suspended under these circumstances. Is there more to this story perhaps?

Ok at the begining of the month I get an email from Paysystems saying they couldnt charge the card. I called the bank and theres a $35 charge to my account. I figure ok a glitch somewhere. Five days later I get another email. They cant charge the card. I reply and include sale@mchost.com and marc@mchost.com and tell them theres something wrong with Paysystems because I was charged $35.

I get an email a few days later from cs@mchost.com telling me to pay or else. I reply with the whole story and heasr NOTHING from them.

I post to the MCHost forums about it and ALOT of people had the same problem! Marc told me to submit a ticket. I did explaining it all. He replies asking for the Paysystems ID# for it. I email it to him and tell him that Paysystems emailed sayig they would look into it and when they fixed it they would recharge the card.

I emailed them to ask WHY when they have already gotten the $35. No reply. Marc also said if they charge the card its ok.

Today I get an email from Paysystems telling my my order was cancelled. I tried to check my emails later and my account is suspended at MCHost.

You have already posted this in our forums, i have asked you to open a quick ticket so we can take a look at it and resolve this. I still don't see in a ticket. You really can't expect us to resolve billing issues on a 3rd party forum. Waiting for your ticket. (Note: I don't see ticket 7542 open)

Heres the only thing I can think of...

When I signed up with MCHost I needed an account fast. I asked Marc if I could use a relatives card until I got mine since I had lost it and reported it lost. He said no problem.

Well when I got my card I emailed Marc over and over to ask him what to do (like he told me to.) and never got a reply. My relative then closed her account at that bank so that card was no good. I emailed MCHost alot of times askign for a new link and never got one until I brought it up in a thread somewhere and Marc finally answered my emails.

I followed the link and he told me to forget about the other Paysystems thing. Everything was fine until this month.

Oh and the email I got from Paysystems today was telling my that the account with them under my relatives name was cancelled. Was cancelled long ago...

So why exactly should we stay away from MC Host? This appears to be a paysystems problem, not MCHosts's...

From your old card, there were payments received on December 2001 and January 2002. You have not yet paid for your account for February, but lets forget about that. Your last payment was last month and this month's payment has been declined twice because of fraud risk. We have sent an email to your @attbi.com email address yesterday informing you that your card has been declined due to fraud risk and have received no reply. This morning we have again tried to charge your card and it was declined due to fraud risk again, so your account was automatically temporarily suspended.

If you believe this is an error, please contact our billing through the helpdesk and we will resolve it for you, and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Again, due to privacy reasons we will not discuss or resolve billing issues on 3rd party forums. Please see your ticket for further and more detailed explanations.

Good question. There's a few things I don't understand about this thread.

1) have you given MCHost a chance to rectify the situation before shooting your mouth off in public?

2) aren't recurring charges the responsibility of paysystems? so that would make it your responsibility to get the information correct so paysystems can pay them. if you can't do that, what is MCHost supposed to do?

Sorry, this doesn't even pass the laugh-test.

Maybe it is just me but people just sent to be having a go at MCHost with every possible incident. Also why should people keep clear of MCHost due to a Paysystems screw up?

When emails to them go unanswered and then finally looks like they are listenign to you and then the next day poof account gone it is frustrating.

Emails = not answered or really long time.
Post to forums = submit ticket
post a ticket = dont fully help and close the ticket.

My last ticket reply was that I have a $35 charge from the day they said they couldnt do it. This is still not answered as to why. And yes MCHost chooses to use them so it IS their business.

I have had alot of problems with MCHost (Tahiti server for thoese who have an account there, youll know) it has gotten better until all of this.

I had the same thing happen with revecom. Though my host was more understanding. Revecom/paysystems has a structural mistake in their organisation and I have nothing but trouble with them.

In all honesty, when it works, then revecom is fine, when there's a problem, then they are totally not willing to work (and don't keep any promises)

Revecom/Paysystems.com has processed literally hundreds of payments for us over the last few months and there have only been a few go astray here and there. With us, they're shooting around 99.5% reliabiliy. Much like hosting really. ;)

every mchost customer knows that you don't e-mail them you use the helpdesk or the foumrs for problems..you keep saying you are e-mailing them but not receiving an answer...its quite clear over the entire site..

USE THE HELP DESK!

MCHOST must have alot of clients and trying to get back to all of them for support or any other issues would be a hard task.

Every host has there prefered way of contact and sometimes if you dont follow this it can cause you alot of problems and frustration...

But still even emails should get a response... Seriously how about a newbie that doesnt know the difference between an ip and a domain etc. How do you know they know what a help desk or forum is? You dont!

Just maybe have a FAQ section were they can search for there own answers and if they do send you an email ask them to always use the help desk etc.. not answering them at all would just cause frustration.

Just my opinion as always

Seriously, sometimes businesses clash just like people clash. Sounds like your approach and MCHost's approach doesn't mesh. You may need to find a compatible interface, a new provider.
