I'm sitting here replying/reading threads today here in the Ded. forum and I've noticed, I'm hopelessly attached to the company I work for, I get red in the face and flustered when I read unsubstantiated things about us as much as I would if they were saying them about me personally. Anyone else ever felt like this? It's very frustrating.. lol.
MODS - Wrong forum, sorry about that, can you please move this to Webhosting Lounge?
lol a dedicated employee :)

Patrick, I think it is natural. Hosts don't like to have to defend themselves against the constant 'opinions' and one-sided posts. Obviously there are two sides to a story and while everyone can tell their part, ultimately the members are going to have to decide what to believe/trust.
As always, you're free to address the issue, however my suggestion to all hosts is not to get into an argument with a client (or ex-client) on the forum as it rarely pans out well for the hosting company. You guys are pretty big, so people also tend to root for the small underdog.
If there's ever anything flat out purposely damaging (host bashing), then report it and we'll have a lookie. I try to be as unbiased as possible, to both RS, any host, and the clients who are having the problem. Not always easy, and as I said, just address it when it is appropriate.
