I notice that Spamkiller on Cpanel doesn't seem to work. Rejects all incoming email.
Will spare embarresment of host, except to say that it's on the latest Cpanel and WHM versions.
Anybody know how to correct, please?

If possible I would just turn it off... It's very strict about incoming emails, so most everything will be rejected including a lot of important email which isn't spam.

It depends on the settings that your host has setup for SpamAssisan... You can pick the level of threshold.
If you go to your root level, than .spamassisan, than user_prefs (or where ever it is on your server), than you'll be able to change your preferences I belive.
Current on my server it is set on 5. It does delete some important emails, app. 1 every 2 weeks. But the upside for me, is that it is easier for me to skim my spam emails. I currently have anything that has spam assisans subject, put in my delete box. Everyday I can just skim through those emails that say *****SPAM*****, and I don't have to deal with sorting it out from my 'real emails'. You can tell which are spam just from looking at the subject lines.
When you start to get close to 200-300 spams a day, the risk of me missing one important one every 2 weeks, is not an issue. And if you are really concered, if you are using an email program with filters, you can setup a filter that looks for emails from certain email address and if found, than stops processing more rules, which is one of the filters I have up. This way, even if spam assisan flags a non-spam as a spam, it won't go to my delete box.
So it helps with time issues, as far as having to weed through all the crap that comes flying through my inbox. Sadly, they are now even picking up email addresses from my privacy statements and terms of service! Ack! I really do not like spam, but spam assisan is one of my new best friends. It works great with the system that I've setup.
Goodluck on your spam issues!

i have asked venturesonline about this once and they told me it would be wise not to use it as it is extremly buggy and it causes more problems that its worse. I would recremend a good email program that has its own filtering.

I agree, that the current version of SpamAssassin is garbage. I recommend to my Clients not to use it and use the Email Block feature instead. Using 'any header' that 'contains' works just great for me. Sure hope the v4.8 has taken out SpamAssassin or at least fixed it.
It's a shame really, that whoever is in charge of features within Cpanel, doesn't check them out throughly. XMB was a beta version (in Cpanel 4.7) and also had bugs. The XMB creators have finally released v1.6 though, and easy to upgrade.
