I have been issued with 2 IP's for nameserver use. I read somewhere that theses IP's need to be binded to the network interface - or something. I that true? do I really need to do something to make my server actually recognize these IP's? or should these be OK as they are.

Yes, you need the sticky dns software to bind those IP's to your machine or else they would be stolen........ Kidding.

If you are a reseller the IP's would have already been added to your sub net mask....... I don't think you need to worry about that, just go ahead and assign them.
