hi. I have got serieus problem (at least I think).

Every time I send an email to an email adres of my domein I get:

<justauser@www.saait.nl>
(reason: system config error)

----- Transcript of session follows -----
553 5.3.5 www.saait.nl. config error: mail loops back to me (MX problem?)
554 5.3.5 <justauser@www.saait.nl>... Local configuration error



My DNS is set up like this:

saait.nl -> 80.84.237.150 (A)
ftp.saait.nl -> 80.84.237.150 (A)
localhost.saait.nl -> 127.0.0.1 (A)
ns1.saait.nl -> 80.84.237.150 (A)
ns2.saait.nl -> 80.84.237.151 (A)
server.saait.nl -> 80.84.237.150 (A)
www.saait.nl -> 80.84.237.150 (A)
80.84.237.150/24 -> ns1.saait.nl (A)
80.84.237.151/24 -> ns2.saait.nl (A)
saait.nl mail is sent to the High priority mail server www.saait.nl
www.saait.nl mail is sent to the High priority mail server www.saait.nl

In the site management of www.saait.nl I have these settings:

IP Address -> 80.84.237.150
Host Name -> www
Domain Name -> saait.nl
Web Server Aliases -> www.saait.nl
Email Server Aliases -> saait.nl

I also have got ns1.saait.nl als virtual site (thats the one you can't delete)

IP Address -> 80.84.237.150
Host Name -> ns1
Domain Name -> saait.nl
Web Server Aliases ->
Email Server Aliases ->

what am i doing wrong? 't is only this domain I have problems with. My other domains are working with no problems.

Hi m8,

I had a similar problem when I first setup my sites. What I found was its the "email alias" box thats the problem.

Try This......

Email Server Aliases -> saait.nl, www.saaitl.nl



Personally I would make the mail server be....

mail.domain.com

less confusing.
