Well hosts Unlimited/Unmetered Bandwidth often have in thier Terms of Service about unlimited so its not really unlimited
Here are a few

http://www.******.com/?zone=support/terms
*****'s customers are privileged to be offered unlimited traffic for their web sites. The intention of ***** is to provide a large space to serve web documents, not an off site storage area for electronic files. All (90%) of your web pages (html) must be 'linked' with files (.GIF, .JPEG, etc.) stored on *****'s server. Web sites that are found to contain either/or no html documents, a large number of unlinked files are subject to warning, suspension or cancellation at the discretion of ***** management. Any customer who violates *****'s Policies in abusing either space/site transfer will be notified and given 2 days to remedy the problem. If the problem is not resolved within the allotted period, the client will be billed for the overages.

To maintain the integrity of our shared hosting service the following limitations apply:

Sites with banners, graphics or cgi scripts running from their domain used on other domains. Sites with picture galleries (This is any site where 50% of the files transferred is graphics) Sites offering download files or archives. (This is any site where 50% or more of there monthly traffic is from file downloads). Sites using more than 30% of system resources for longer than 60 seconds. Sites running multimedia files (QuickTime, Real Audio, Real Video, MP3).

For those that do not qualify for the unlimited service, traffic will go unmonitored until you reach 20 GB per month. Thereafter, normal data transfer cost of $20.00/1GB/month will be billed to your account. If you want to pre-pay for bandwidth overages, you will be billed $10.00/1GB/month.

We allow unlimited bandwidth for sites:

- Not have any type or size of downloads including exe files and compressed files and pdf, docs.
- Not run any type of chat, forums, irc,.. programs or allow visitors to submit files by upload, ... .

If your site contains/runs one or more of subjects above we will allow a 2GB free bandwidth per month and charge you $4.00 for each GB above this 2GB.

Mega-res Reseller accounts:
resellers excluded from Unlimited band width rules, as they have limited bandwidth, Resellers can host downloads, MP3z, media files, .. .

We offer "un-metered" transfer(bandwidth). Is this the same thing as "un-limited"? Not at all. Beware of anyone offering "unlimited" bandwidth. No quality webhost can offer unlimited bandwidth.

UNLIMITED USE POLICY
High bandwidth usage: GnxOnline offers an unlimited use policy by maintaining very large ratios of bandwidth per customer. In rare cases, GnxOnline may find a customer to be using server resources to such an extent that he or she may jeopardize server performance and resources for other customers. In such instances, GnxOnline reserves the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the consideration of all customers.

HIGH RESOURCE USER POLICY
Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilization.

Unlimited Services
Unlimited is determined by a set of Internet averages. At Bluedomino, we divide available resources by the number of users on the system. At any time that you exceed our averages, you will be contacted to discuss payment for extra services or moving your site to a dedicated server.

I think most people have better things to do then open threads and bash other host. You seem to spend alot of time bashing unlimited guys. Do you have a life? I think from the other threads you started, we pretty much get you don't like unlimited. Now why don't you go back down the hole you came from and if you want to open threads, maybe make them positive, as you know there are already thousands of threads like these. Hopefully a modoratitor will realize this and shut down your trolling.

For others, I do not have a single unlimited offer. I don't care for them either. However I get sick of the same people opening the same crap. Seems more and more, people want to come here and open bashing or flaming threads, which is all this thread is. Any fool can find an unlimited host and read the TOS. But to open a thread that has been done a thousand times?

I'll agree with you on this one, although we really try not to close threads, this one will be closed. If it addressed a specific host in response to someone asking about them, it would be one thing, but we don't need a listing of every unlimited host out there, and I don't think you've made a strong enough topic for people to follow.

If there's a point, it is that you should carefully examine tohe TOS of any host that offers something you feel is too good to be true. In fact, examine the TOS carefully no matter what... :D
