I recently purchased a domain name from namecheap.com. I chose to host my site with web1000.com, a free web hosting site. The Introductory email came right away, so I went to the namecheap website and changed the nameservers, uploaded my site via FTP onto web1000's servers. The files are on the server but my page will not show up, www.hammertutoring.com. I even went back and added the IP addresses to the name servers that were supplied in the introductory email. It has been 2 days and I still do not have a hosted page.
Any ideas why my page will not show up? Internet Explorer says that It cannot find the server.

I can see your site now but it is pointed to a webcam babes website. I think this is web1000.com's purpose as you can see on their website:

We do this on things like 404 error traffic and some non-English traffic that many advertisers would not purchase anyhow (like Korean and Chinese traffic), which we turn into 404 traffic. You will notice that 404 traffic is directed to advertisers. Since our bandwidth is already paid for, even this small amount of traffic makes us a profit. (You would be surprised at how many people type in site names like "something.web1000.com" It's just like type in traffic to a primary domain name . . . and the quality of this type-in 404 traffic is quite good).

I apologize if this link took you to a porn site; I had no idea. It takes me nowhere. This is my first site that I have tried to host, and web1000 was the result of of a rec from another thread. However, I still cannot get any contact from my website.

Yes, I also get a porn pop-up, its to bad, I guarentee kids that have sites goto this place for hosting and see the porn ads
