Ok, this might not be relevant here but I have something that has been driving me crazy. Does anyone know how to delete duplicate appointments in MS Outlook calendar? Help me before I go insane.

Simple. Select the first appointment, hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard, and select each additional appointment. It may not look like they are highlighted since it just adds a blue line underneath them but once selected, press delete.

I just tried the above steps to confirm it works and I had no problem deleting three appointments.

Thanks for the reply Mark but I was looking for a way in MS outlook that would search out and delete exact appointments. There's a way to do it with contacts but not with appointments as far as I can tell. I basically did exactly what you describe - I had to do it manually. I spent about 45-50 minutes on it but it's done. Thanks.
I just upgraded from a palm device to a PPC and had two separate accounts that synchronized -effectively doubling my appointments.
BTW, I love my new Audiovox MaestroPPC! What a difference from my old palm IIIxe. It's like night and day.

Glad I could help. As far as searching quicker in the calendar, you could always try the Advanced Find option. It's available by going to the Tools menu and selecting Advanced Find or by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-F.

I've done the same thing before duplicating appointments and as long as you have some information about the meeting/appointment, if you run an Advanced Find it will find all of them. Then just highlight each duplicate and delete. Of course this is fixed now but if this happens again, try that...:(
