this site is seriously slow right now.

I just spent 10 mins trying to read a PM, and still didn't make it.. got " page not displayed"

and it took another 5 mins to make it here to post this !!

this site shouldn't be this slow.. I know this webscript and I know it can handle a lot more then "Currently Active Users: 716 (256 members and 460 guests) "

also I got a vbulletion database error when I first started posting this..

it's a nice site, please make it efficient. :)

I think iNet were adding a slave database to the cluster (according to a redirected page when i attempted to log on earlier). Might be the reason.

hmm I don't have the slightest idea why it would be slow,, it's always slow for me..
maybe it's some ad protection I have, but I visit other busy sites and they are fine.. I guess I'll test some things out

Use firewall to block the ads site here on wht and it might help improve your speed. Are you using firefoxes adblocker plugin if so try blocking using firewall instead.

Even better idea, those that don't like ads and will never click them don't see them. This doesn't cost the advertisers any impressions. They now get much better impressions because more of the user's looking at them would be apt to click on them.

It most likely won't, the server that serves WHT ad's is located in the iNet cluster, so ad serving is generally very speedy. And you never know what you might see in an ad ;). You may find that "perfect provider", but if the ad is blocked, you won't see it, and therefore won't find the provider :P.
