No offense or anything, but your site is like an exact duplicate of WHT only with a poorer layout and more obstructive ads. You might want to make some aspect of it original or people will obviously have no incentive to use your board over one like WHT.

Hello alvarez16, I've added you on msn! I'm interested!

@ Serpico well it does look alike besides the layout however their are many fans of WebHostingTalk so no issues on that. Thanks for pointing that out though :-)

Best of luck to you.

I understand about my site being like WHT, and yeah, it does, but I have added more forums than the ones here at WHT.

When sites are starting out, they will try to be like the more popular sites. For example if you are starting a gaming site, you are going to try and be like ign.com and 1up.com as much as possible.

Thanks

You cant just copy the WHM forum structure. Dont start making forums if you just want to copy something, you should be more inovative ...

You cant just copy the WHM forum structure.

Offcourse he can - its a forum with categories and forums, and it might have same names, but not same design or domain-name.. so yes!

Uh...he can, but it's easily recognized for being a plagiarized piece of crap. Who wants to view a site that's essentially WHT without the users and structure?

Yes, but it seems that some people just dont want to understand it(becouse it is easier for them that way).

Here's a piece of piracy I found recently: http://webhostingtalk.com.au/. I originally thought they were related until a friend at inet interactive told me they were not.

Its funny how people who love WHT copy it. If I ever made a hosting forum I would never copy any kind of forum and make my own uniqe one, its something to be proud of when you build up a community and make up your own names and etc for it. Something other forum owners should know. Thanks for that serversurgeon, good looking out!

Anyone with a half an hour and a server can throw together a forum but if you've been around even for awhile you start realizing that Inet Interactive really does an extreme amount of work keeping thier sites successful and well managed.

Yep, and anyone with an half an hour can think of good names instead of doing what Inet did.
