anyone have experience transfering out of Pool.com - I won some backordered domains - I am not sure of the cost on renewals so I thought to transfer away

as far as my experience goes, pool.com does not manage the domains themselves. they work with various registrars who get the names assigned to them. you should check your account, i believe it is mentioned which registrar holds your domains and you should have received an email with account info. That's at least my experience with them.

in the Pool CP it says the domain is with Namescout - I only have limited options there, both Pool + Namescout do not publish the renewal fee - or if there is a transfer out fee. the domain is a .CA

i still have 1 name left with namescout, but was/am not impressed by them. i however did not find a price for a .ca, although their yearly fee for a .com is $25.
i would contact their support to get definitive answer on the .ca question :)
