Hi, I am trying to figure out what plans I want to offer but its really hard to work everything out. I was hoping you guys could tell me what you think of my plans so far.

Go to http://www.bweeb.com/hosting/ and all the plans are listed. This is leaving out all the obvious stuff like PHP, SSI, etc since I didn't feel like writing that now and know you guys don't want it clogging up your brains :). The promotion plans are plans that will be hidden except from links from sites that I have promotions with such as clan sites or php news sites. I will also be offering a sixth month and yearly discount but that is easy once I have my base prices.

Is my pricing too cheap? too expensive? too many plans? Too much of one thing too little of another? All comments welcome and any resources or tips you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Ben

Thats alot of plans! I think you shouldn't use more than 4 plans on one page. Not only is it confusing but it'll be hard to track when you have 200 customers.

yea i agree! That is alot of plans to setup and deal with, I would stick with a max of maybe 6, offer an option to create a custom plan.

Another problem with so many plans is that clients will come closer to using the space and bandwidth offered in the plans because they can choose a plan closer to their needs. Whereas with fewer plans your % utilization goes down. This can significantly impact your profitability.

Why stop at 400 MB? Some people could use more.

Looks good, but maybe offer more email accounts for the Power Account... it just seems like someone paying $32/mo would expect more than 40 mailboxes.

Also, you might want to offer SSH with the more expensive plans like the Power Account.

Other than that, looks good.
