I just downloaded this today and have been pretty suprised at how nice it has been so far, its got exactly the same features as firefox now to be honest though but the speed on it this i think may be faster, so i'm going to try it out a few days before deciding which one i'm going to continue to use.

What do you think about it?

I've read the poor reviews and that's about it.

This may be a good time to mention that software is released bugs and all and fixed as they go. This includes software by all the major companies such as Yahoo!, eBay, and Microsoft. Coupled with users hardware, you can see that sometimes, it's just an incompatibility problem when things don't work correctly.

I've seen users pull their hair out complaining to companies when this was obviously the problem.

Best of luck uninstalling it. Depending on your setup, it may completely uninstall IE from your system, including whatever previous version you were running. Love it when a company's software bug bites them in their own asses :D

Here's the lowdown (http://www.iwdn.net/showthread.php?t=3605) on IE7. It's slightly improved on IE6, but from a developer's standpoint, it is still, by far, the lousiest browser made. We tested it. It failed...bad.

Tried it for a few hours and it looks nice but its paranoid about phishing and SSL certificates which slows down the whole process of using known good websites, including using WHM/cPanel with secure login configured.
Used Windows restore to get rid of it and rolled back fine.

I agree with that, works almost like firefox, i'm back to using firefox now :) the text in Ie7 also looks weird, kind of blurred.. it started to hurt my eyes after a few hours.

To uninstall back to IE6... you have to go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and Uninstall one of the Microsoft Updates that says Internet Explorer... not the application itself.
