Why not try both of their demos and see which one you like the best? Better is in the eye of the beholder.

Moved to Hosting Software and Control Panels.

Plesk and CPanel are both nice pieces of software, it all depends on your clients tastes and your server admins tastes for example, CPanel compiles apache from source and you have the option of adding / removing compiling options thru WHM and if you know what you're doing you can compile it manually. Plesk on the other hand uses an RPM based distrobution of Apache where it's precompiled and you cannot add / remove options as easily.

Plesk is easier to navigate and looks much better (my personal opinion) than CPanel.

I've been using CPanel for a very long time, as a result that was our first choice for deploying our web servers with CPanel. We purchased a Plesk8 license last night and have been playing with the new Plesk8 and it seems very nice.
