I have been with Gazzin for 1 year. I run my ihostking.com business with Gazzin and have many accounts.

Last weekend they moved me from Tiger to a new server called Shamu without notifying me. I was moved from Mustang to Tiger in December with notification.

For the past week I have not been able to update any of my websites using Frontpage 2003, and my SSL was not transferred to the new server so I am losing customers.

Many of my customers are about to leave if this does not get resolved.

I have literally sent in many tickets and used their online chat and my problem is just not getting resolved.

I know for a fact I lost 3 new potential customers, and I have 3 that are about to sign up but they cannot use my WHM autopilot because my SSL has not been moved.

I have had my ups and downs with Gazzin but I have stuck with them because they have been very responsive and have provided generally very good support.

Something has happened this week and I do not know what, but not being able to update my websites using frontpage extensions and having my ordering system down for almost a week is unacceptible.

I am really hoping they come through for me so I am not forced to move to a new provider. I have been very patient.

Is anyone else going through this right now?

Gazzin if you are reading this, I have pretty much run out of time.

I have been very patient.Trust me, that's not always a good thing. Ccompanies and people seem to not be valueing patience much. Being too patient can end up biting your youknowwhat. :)

I suggest you set a deadline in your mind. If they go past it, you know what you can do. As a customer you always have the ultimate choice. :)

listen to Idcdc's comment: "set a deadline in your mind." There's only so much abuse from companies like gazzin you should handle. You really should have left in December, as those were signs of troubled times. And it only takes a 5 minute read through of the complaints against that company to see their true worth!

You need to regularly check how your host performs to others. You failed to do that earlier. Now it is your turn... you are screeming.

Well they have fixed the SSL and I am waiting for the Frontpage Extensions to work.

We will see!

You should be able to uninstall and reinstall the FP server extensions from your cpanel or from your WHM. That might help. :)

A provider should NEVER move you to a new server without some sort of notice. In fact, they should have consulted with you to ask if it was okay. Did your IP change too?

Thanks,
Jay

The OP said that he was moved between servers with notification in December, and says that they have been responsive to support requests up until now, so I would not interpret the December move as a sign of trouble. To me, that shows that the hosting company is actively trying to maintain acceptable server loads as the customers begin to use more resources on the servers.

As for the current problems, they probably should have notified you before moving you. Is it possible that you just didn't receive the email? Have you tried calling them?

I have a big question for someone. How do I get my freakin account cancelled at Gazzin? I had issues with them for almost 6 months, and I was patient but they continued to gradually go downhill and pick up speed. I cancelled my account with them on February 14th. I was told after several trouble tickets and having to post nasty-grams on their message board that they do not have anyone trained to delete accounts and refund the moneythat was due, but they are training people this weekend and it would be resolved shortly. That was 2 months ago. I have since been refunded March's dues after being once again charged on an account that shoul have been cancelled the month before. Now once again I am being charged on the same account that is supposed to be cancelled and told in the trouble ticket that I will get my money back but they dont have anyone to cancel accounts...WTF?!?
I have tried to be patient but they are full of crap and steadily closing in on beig one of the worst web hosts I know of. The guy that responds on the message board is a poompous *** that lies because he doesnt know what he is doing and what is going on. Seems if you dont know how to do something as vital and simple as close an account, do us all a favor and close up shop. I have notified them I am looking into doing a 3 month charge back through my credit card company and contacting a lawyer about fraudulent charges on y credit card. I should not hqve to do this. This is lkie a bad breakup with a psycho girlfriend. JUST GO AWAY GAZZIN!
Thanks for any help.

While I never did it myself, I believe you can speak with your bank and have them refuse sending any of your money to this company.

I have notified them I am looking into doing a 3 month charge back through my credit card company and contacting a lawyer about fraudulent charges on y credit card.I read that they refunded you for the month of March. Doing a chargeback for 3 months wouldn't be exactly fair, would it?

i had the same problem with gazzin (think i still have it) i canceled my account about 2 month ago, it was cancelled after 3 weeks after i submit a cancelation ticket to them, only when my overdue invoice had reached 2 or 3 weeks and was a sure thing that i will not reconsider.

In this time my billing option was manual so they can't process my cc automatically.

After the account was cancelled without any reason they started to process my invoice automatically (i'm glad i used a debit card when signing with them because i curentlly have a huge amount of money in that account in a total sum of 0,3$ (: and i intend to keep it that way until this is resolved ).

So i asked them to stop processing my invoice which was generated after submiting my cancellation ticket but still no answer from them for over 1 week, my billing account is still active with 1 invoice averdue.

Well i think this is a verry chalenging thing for them to cancel an account, at least until their employer is getting his master degree in "account cancellation in the hosting bussines - resellers plans" .

P.S. Not my intention to be mean at all. Gazzin staff please forgive me. I couldn't retain myself.

Fair and Gazzin should nbot even be used in teh same sentence. As I see it time is money and I dont have enough of either to be playing games with them. Some companies will attempt to see how many charges they can get away with before someone notices or complains or both. In this case noticing and complaining isnt working and they essentially have you by the balls. They didnt used to be this way but something has gone down hill. I do not wish for anybody to go through this as it is more of a bother than whats its worth, but short of legal fees, adding a minus sign in their books may be thge only way to get their attention.

You might have a point hangman41, and your action might not be that unfair. After all, they're the ones handling things wrongly, so when you're faced with a decision of either having a personal loss or making them lose something, the choice is definitely not that hard to make. :)

I'm curious, why did they move your sites in the first place? Do they have some sort of a notification list that you're possibly not subscribed to?
