Greetings all...I having some difficulties managing client information and calandaring for follow-up emailing, renewal notification etc.

Does anyone has any good suggestions of software that may be able to help (that won't break my pocketbook) other than say MS Outlook or ACT? Thanks!

I personally work with Goldmine. The only one out of the bunch that have automated processes :) there website is www.frontrange.com

I also happen to work for a VAR of Frontrange. There are two versions, dbase and sql. Sql is for large companies that are going to have more then lets say 15 users. Its really stable and not much maintence. Dbase is for smaller companies, same pruduct but with a different backend, and a little more maintence.

We too currently use Goldmine, evaluating the web based one specifically developed for webhosting http://www.phpmanager.com

From your description, you need a back end billing solution. Check out http://www.digitalpoint.com/.

If you are looking for billing software, I would suggest ModernBill.

It does the job for us, no complaints!

Goldmine has been great thus far, though it hasn't won me over entirely just yet. I'm still a big fan of ACT :)
