Anyone here using them? I have a reseller plan with them for 2.5 years now but they've recently been sold out to another company and I can't get a service ticket answered. Anyone else having any luck?

This is a common problem when hosts sell out. The new owners are not ready to handle the challenge. How long have you been waiting for a reply?

ouch that is quite a long time, have you tried calling? Do they offer a number to call or is it just email and tickets?

I think its about time to back your files up and move to another host before you find your self in downtime... move quickly before their servers dissapear also... good luck!

Do you know who bought them? Maybe you can contact the "mother company" directly and ask them to help you out?

Funny, the domain's whois lists a fake phone number. http://www.whois.sc/vshosting.net

Well yeah, unless the numbers have changed during the buy out, but that is highly unlikely.

Not always, although not having a working number can be troublesome (and may indicate that they're running a run-by-night host), but since you have been with them for 2.5 years, I doubt this is the case.

As sugggested, try contacting the company who bought them (if known) and make sure that you do have working, recent backups just incase the server goes down and/or you need to move to a new host.

All I conclude based on the fake phone number is that they don't follow ICANN regulations, which is not among the things one would expect of a host. I can understand forgetting to update the phone in case of a # change, but to willingly put a bogus number there...

Sounds like you'll be packing and moving to a new host. Good luck in your search!
