Upgrading Plesk v2.0 to v2.5
Upgrading to Php 4.2.1 ( or latest )
Upgrading to latest mysql version

Upgrading from plesk 2.0 to 2.5 is free, which includes a php and mysql upgrade. Can't remember off the top of my head what version of php and mysql is in psa v2.5 though.

The pHp that comes with Plesk 2.5 is 4.1.0
Apparently it is a patched up copy of it.

But then again, the main Plesk installation is a sh installation. You can always opt for the rpm version and install stuff manually.

I am not sure if a higher version of PHP will break the Plesk control panel in 2.5 though.....but seriously, I would not think so.


Technically, it will cost you nothing to upgrade to what you specified...that is unless you have no idea what you are doing and have to employ someone to do it.

The rate for installing might vary. Some people might do it for free for you in exchange for services, or might charge you hourly rate of 30/hr or 60/hr (it will take less than an hour to do the upgrades)
