Hi,

I'm trying to decide whether to go with cpanel or plesk. This is on a server that just has my own personal websites (no clients or friends). I want something that's flexible, detailed in reports, stable and easy to work with.

I currently run cPanel and I like it but just checking if plesk might be better for me.

Thanks,
Milun

I would go with cPanel. Some people like Plesk more. I think Plesk is more stable, but cPanel has more flexibility. Demo Plesk before making a decision.

If its just for you, why not just get no CP?

If its a must, direct admin is a good option.

Why the heck do you need a hosting control panel, if you are only gonna host yourself? Maybe zpanel (100% free!) is the solution, because you don't need much, if you aren't hosting anybody, but yourself.
