Live Response Esupport and support suite?
What is the different between them and what do you need if you just want a help desk
at your web hosting web site where users can submit tickets and then you can respond? Also do you recommend any addons?

If you just want the helpdesk, just get eSupport. We use addons such as, their SMS services and InstaAlert.

Live Responce - Live chat
Support Suite - Both combined
Live Response: This is their enhanced live support script.
Esupport: This is their "general" helpdesk system.
support suite: This is their combo system that incorporates the live help and helpdesk features into one central system.
For an all-in-one solution, support suite is very handy and streamlines support services. The easier you make your support options for your customers, not to mention your employees can both earn and save you money in the long run.
Many people love Kayako, some don't. I personally like Cereberus more (they offer helpdesk and live support scripts as well), but that is a personal opinion. For a simple desk solution, Intellodesk is another option to consider.
