Does it include a firewall and firewall management?

Does it include an intrusion detection system and management of it?

What is the network SLA and uptime guarantee?

What is the hardware repair and replacement guarantee?

What is the SLA for installing patches?

Do you only patch applications you installed or all of the applications on the box (even the client installed apps)?

Do you handle the kernel upgrades?

Does it include server software installation such as streaming media or other applications the client wants installed?

Is there a limit on the number of hours of support?

We do offer a managed firewall option for $175 monthly.

Does it include an intrusion detection system and management of it?

It can if you want it to, but by default we install gresecurity, we can also install tripwire and other software you might want.

What is the network SLA and uptime guarantee?

99.9%

What is the hardware repair and replacement guarantee?

We maintain a stock of parts, if you or we detect a hardware failure we will replace it promptly. Usually within 1 hour.

Do you only patch applications you installed or all of the applications on the box (even the client installed apps)?

Only ones we have installed, If we install an application for you, that you request we will in turn patch it later if you subscribe to our security service.

Do you handle the kernel upgrades?

With gresecruity we would need to yes.

Does it include server software installation such as streaming media or other applications the client wants installed?

We can install real server basic, anything beyond that is on a case by case basis.


Is there a limit on the number of hours of support?

No, their is not as long as it falls within our range of services.

hi

i just tried calling all numbers listed on pwebtech web site. i also tried calling ed on his phone number, but no one pics up phone !!

just wondering what i will do when my server is down and i need emergency reboot.

i heard there is some noc number 24/ 7 what is that !

They have a phone number 24/7 for emergency and they deal with your request within minutes.

All customers are given a private 24/7 NOC Line. Also our dedicated server support goes out of a different email not tech@pwebtech.com so that it is given higher priority. All this information is given to a client on sign up.
