Hi all,

I really like webhosting at webmaters.com, as they offer almost
things I like:

500 MB of disk space with 5GB of burstable bandwidth.
100 POP3 mailboxes, unlimited aliases, autoresponders
...

and this feature I like very much:

Mail Groups : Setting up an mail group allows you to receive e-mail at one central mailbox and then have it forwarded to a designated group of internal or external mailboxes.

and [Mailing List Manager].

Monthly Fee $9.95 !!!

But the question is I have no experience with webhosting.
I really need your comments about webmasters.com

Another friend of mine recommends tera-byte.com ...

Thank you very much.

well, there are some things wrong with webmasters.com. I looked at following features:

"Database Access: If your site requires the use of a database, we offer MySQL, a fast, full featured SQL database designed for the Internet .."
Cost: $5.00 per month!!
Setup Fee: None

Unique IP Address: Cost: $5.00 per month for each unique IP

"Server Mirroring: This feature is designed to provide unconditional 100% network and server uptime. Although our network and server uptime is virtually 100% anyway, it is possible for a web server to have a major hardware problem, such as a primary hard drive or processor failure. Although we have backup servers standing by ready to replace a failed server, the process itself may involve some downtime for the time it takes to restore data. Server Mirroring gives you a piece of mind that your website will not go down even if the server or network you are on fails completely."
Cost: $19.95 per month

What do you think about tera-byte.com
in comparision with webmasters.com? thx.

I've been interested in Webmasters.com also, as they seem to have some very good deals. I'd love to hear what others think.

One feature which I found missing was the ability to use subdomains to host content. They can redirect subdomains to somewhere, but it's not true subdomain hosting.

Looking over their site and they seem to have their act together totally. Nice site with HEAPS of info. I was intrigued by the server mirroring concept. I don't know how they sycronise databases and many other dynamic aspects of hosting with their mirrors but I'm sure they're figured all that out etc. :)
