I couldn't agree more, bare in mind you come dangerously close. One of the most popular questions on this site is what? what is a good free/open source billing system. This site promotes ignorance by rewarding these repetitive questions with repetitive answers rather than pointing out that with a little research (use of the search feature) the answer can be found. Granted the asker in this particular case is looking for a "list", but even that can be fulfilled in short order as there isn't that many in use, and have been covered.
