Have you found that your rss feed has brought your website more traffic? If so, where did you submit your rss feed? Or, how did you make your rss feed known to others who might be interested in using it?

I think it is mostly marketing your website (links exchange, search engines, adv, participation in forums etc.) ...

Did you tried to submit your rss feed to Google Sitemaps service and you can notice that different serching engine like MSN, Live & etc will start index your website.

Well google is where people get to you, no one uses msn and live to search and reach your website.

It's not true, cause my logs are showing different figures, some people are using msn, live & the rest small engines.

Maybe you can try ROR (http://www.rorweb.com/) which is supposed to be an xml file in your domain root that'll be used by search engines to index, track changes etc. Something similar to Alexa's info.txt file except with more info. I dont know people use this now.

i am a big fan or RSS feeds, i use a program on my mobile phone that just lists rss feeds. As a user i think this really depends on the quality of your feed.

How about feedburner? Anyone had success with registering and submitting your url there?
