For a limitied time Verio has it's MPS available with no set up fee.
. The server setup fee will be waived for special configuration FreeBSD MPS ($495 savings). See applicable server configuration below. This is the only configuration that will have the setup fee waived.
2. Promo begins May 6, 2002 and will last as long as we have supply of these special configuration machines. First come, first serve basis. We will let you know when the supply is getting low.
3. Only FreeBSD MPS in Dulles/Sterling, VA will qualify for the setup fee waiver. Solaris MPS is NOT included. MPS in the San Jose data center are NOT included.
4. The only server configuration available for this promotion is the following
- Single Pentium III processor 550-850 MHz
- 512 MB RAM
- 3 x 9 GB Hard Drives (~ 8 GB available space)
Drive 1: User Data
Drive 2: Mirror (RAID 0)
Drive 3: Backup
The software and managed services on these servers is identical to the standard FreeBSD MPS. The customer cannot select the speed of the processor; the server will be provisioned with a PIII proc between 550 MHz and 850 MHz. Hardware components (RAM, hard drive, proc) cannot be upgraded during the initial order process.
