Hi,

I've just upgraded MySQL and now all I see is the following error - there isn't even a login screen, when I try to log into Plesk Reloaded(7.5.4):

ERROR: Unable to query: Can't open file: 'misc.ibd' (errno: 1) 0: .../plib/common_func.php3:203 psaerror(string "Unable to query: Can't open file: 'misc.ibd' (errno: 1)") 1: .../plib/common_func.php3:390 db_query(string "select param, val from misc") 2: .../plib/class.Session.php:113 get_param(string "login_timeout") 3: /.../auto_prepend/auth.php3:139 Session->Session()

Can anyone explain what the error is and how to fix it?

Thanks

yellowcar

Its generally a bad idea to upgrade mysql with plesk.

forums.sw-soft.com may be of greater use.

Did you upgrade it yourself or with the Plesk updater?

I used yum, with RPM's from ART.

Thats why its broken. The only way to fix it is to retore it back to the previous version.

Problem solved!

I tried repairing the tables in the psa db but even that failed - psa db was corrupted and had to be deleted manually. I followed the instructions at http://kb.swsoft.com/article_17_881_en.html and Plesk is now back to normal :)
