Seems he's looking for recommendations, and thus, he posted in the right place. Does anyone ever actually read the posts before they suggest that poeple post in the request forum?

Needs to read the rules. I think it says you can't point someone to post to the advertising section if you are a hosting company.

Ah well my suggestion for what you are looking to pay and the bandwidth you need is to consider a dedicated or semi dedicated server.

For 40 GB transfer, you might consider renting your own dedicated server. It certainly would be possible to get a shared hosting account, but if the near $100 range is in your budget, you could have the same transfer and a server dedicated to your single site(s) only, which would equate to both better site response and more control.

Good luck though, :)

Nomad,

Some time back I got a foolish flash of inspiration and suggested that all resellers should get together form teams and rent servers which will result in low cost and spacious plans and also lower server loads. Quite surprisingly it generated a lot of interest [more than I could keep up with ;)]

There is this server from eservers.biz which one team of 4 had hired and one guy has opted out so they are looking for another partner

You may be able to get 5GB space and 50GB transfer at around 50-60$ with WHM/ CPanel. If you are interested I can PM you the contact info

Good luck with it ! :)

Cheers

I suggest iPowerWeb (http://www.ipowerweb.com)

iPowerWeb does not really have a limit on transfer, but if you go above 15 gigs they may contact you for upgrade options, etc. But they shouldn't shut down your site. You can go to their site for more information. They offer 150 megs of space.

You can also add more gigs of bandwidth and add more space, but you have to pay extra.

Only 7.95 per month (main package)

Contact them about this.

Yours,

Rick

P.S. iPowerWeb is named #1 or one of the top hosts in many places.

Nomad,

I would suggest you invest in your own dedicated server. Search around to see which dedicated hosts people like the most.

Good Luck,
Zach

Don't choose IPowerWeb! If you check around and search around, you will know they're pretty much a bunch of spammers and cheaters!! NO SUPPORT for one - imagine your e-mail requesting something to them is not replied at all (after 3 weeks?!?)! Imagine when you can't get a single cent of refund after dissatisfaction?!
