Rackfast.com is now up, the website is stunning! Check it out, that's the best flash I've ever seen incorporated into a website like that.

Nice site, I loved every part of it. Shame it will be stolen within 1 month by some jerks.

That is HostRockets new project, isn't it?

The design looks nice but the sites they've (PixelBrick) constructed are beginning to look too similar.

gonna have to agree with that - but that has become a pixelbrick 'trademark' - some of the flash animation that use, reminds of some of eric jordan's work - I should say 'inspiration' - but it seems like alot of flash animators go for that kind of fast flashy flash work.

anyways, still a nice design :)

I'd have to disagree. The flash is similar to their other works, but the RackFast design is quite different to all of their sites. I haven't seen them do much of that 3d stuff - the gray borders. There is a certain feel to their sites, but visually they don't really look the same, they just all feel nice, there's always something nice to look at when you go to the site - quite busy.

I think they've improved at their flash too, I think those movie bits in the animation are very nifty!

It looks amazing but 154kb plus how ever much the flash animation is (40kb?).. a front page getting close to or even higher than 200kb just seems to much to me. They might shave 10kb off that with gzip on but most of the size is from the images.

Check out www.dialyourweb.com...
Thats also another PixelBrick site that looks nothing like their style.

have to agree. took an age to load on 56k. stunning looks, excellent flash, but too fat and the music, where do i start. background music is sooooo tacky. nice lively site tho.

I guess for people buying dedicated servers you can probably assume they are going to be cable/adsl people. Wouldn't want that for a virtual host however ...

You can always turn the music off, though. It looks very nice and techy :)

The music is the best part; especially how it syncs with the movie's animation.

i am a fan of flash, so i like pixelbricks integration alot. but, their style is starting to get extremely over-used.

my friend does amazing flash design in denmark for national tele and many other projects. great stuff, for fans of cartoon-ish flash animation (i'm sure he could tear up on some hosting company sites as well however).

On a site like rackfast, the target audience will almost all have at least broadband connections to the net so the site's file size wasn't too much of a concern of ours and gave pixelbrick a little extra room to play around with to make a great site.

anyone know how much that site cost around?

But will this ultra1337 flash intro make more cusotmers sign up?

Or will a good reputation, excellent customer service, competitive prices, and a quality service?

Bit of an old thread, this, Browse-Hosts... however, I believe sites that pixel brick produce are up in the $15,000+
