Im not an adsl area. richy 05-16-2002, 12:54 PM wouldnt morse be more appropriate for scotland ;) but seriously, i asked a few peeps who use this sort of service, and they all said demon, altho f2s offer it they dont offer the same quality of service, like pipex they arent coping too well on the supplying the bandwidth front. offering cheap adsl is hammering them. Gadgy 05-16-2002, 01:16 PM wouldnt morse be more appropriate for scotland :D Yep, you don't have to go far until there are no wires and the mobile stops working. Totaly agree with you on demon and Pipex, long time around, good business reputations. Rochen 05-18-2002, 08:10 PM Alan, it seems I live just down the road from you :D and I have Blueyonder so that may be an option for you. http://www.blueyonder.co.uk Anyway they claim not to provide a static IP however the IP seems to be static. I have had it since November last year and have rebooted the server it is connected to and the cable modem loads of times and the IP hasn't changed. I can't wait until Blueyonder release there 1.4Mbit down and 1Mbit up service :stickout Alan - Vox 05-18-2002, 08:15 PM im just half a mile from the telewest area :( Rochen 05-18-2002, 08:17 PM Originally posted by SplashHost.com im just half a mile from the telewest area :( :( You might want to take a look at http://www.ISPreview.co.uk ho247 05-19-2002, 03:22 AM Maybe BTopenworld Satellite (http://www.btopenworld.com/satellite/)? :) Alan |
