I want to set up an artists directory where people will pay to list their business. This will pay for the forum hosting I have.

On my webhost I have the choice from the following but I don't know what the differences are.

Agora
Cube Cart
OS Commerce
Zen Cart

I would recommend just using Paypal as your payment gateway. The programs you listed are very nice cpanel scripts that are very beneficial but they tend to limit the design of your site. Paypal allows for one time payments and also gives you the option for subscription payments. Many of those scripts use paypal as a gateway but still limit your site's design. Just create your product and copy the html generated into your webpage using paypal. But that is just one opinion. I don't know if you have your website already designed or not. If not, then one of these programs might make it easier because they will create a store atmosphere.
