We have a Linux server on Cpanel 4.7 When we try to publish web pages from Front Page we are facing the following problem:

First of all we can not access using the http://www.mydomain.com instead we managed to copy files using ftp://ftp.mydomain.com But when I use my form page this is what comes up:

FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page.

PLEASE HELP ME?

Greetings:

1. Make sure the FrontPage server extensions are properly installed.

2. DO NOT use the FTP protocol unless you are 100% sure of what files to transfer AND not transfer.

You do need to use the http protocol for publishing.

Thank you.

Thanks for your reply.

How can I make sure the FrontPage server extensions are properly installed?

Greetings:

I'm not sure if you are your own server admin. If not, contact the provider.

If you are, I've not documented the steps (kind of like... you know how to get there if you are driving, but not to give directions).

So I'm not sure what to say.

Do check at http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/ for the server extension resource kit.

Thank you.
