jgriff64 05-13-2002, 09:16 AM Hello, we use hosting controller. There are not a lot of choice for NT Control Panels. We will not be upgrading to the new release, of hosting controller, in the near futeure as it just does not suit our needs. We are happy with it but it could be loads better.
I would be very interested to see your product.
Please could you give me more information.
If you would like any more info please let me know
If you do provide a better option than hosting controller would you be producing a tool to migrate from the hosting controller database
Regards
James
dexter1 05-13-2002, 10:30 AM You dont need to spend another $100 for something which is of no use.
I am sure that our HC will meet all ur needs. We r also taking care that bot HC of Linux and NT/2000 are able to transfer accounts from WHM and Hosting Controller.
Once again Thanx for ur responce.
Hopefully we will You the Demo in next 15-20 Days.
akashik 05-13-2002, 02:47 PM Totally happy with cpanel here and won't be changing. Small point: You may want to clean up your grammar before you start trying to sell anything. Even if I was interested in another control panel, reading that post would have looking at something else quicker than your head could spin.

dancies 05-13-2002, 06:03 PM I agree with akashik, presentability means a lot when trying to sell something - the way you talk/write reflects on the company and product you are trying to sell. Time and time again people post on these boards in all lowercase, use bad gammer/spelling and use shortcuts like "u r" and "2" (instead of too) - it's just lazy.
This might be just a hangup of mine, but I would bet others feel the same way. If someone can't take the extra three minutes to write a good message and proofread it how am I to trust that they took the extra time to make sure their offerings aren't going to break?

I hate bad gammer too, even more than bad grammer, but bad grammar I can occasionally tolerate...;)
dancies 05-13-2002, 06:16 PM Hehe - whops. Let this be a lesson to all - even though I proofread the post three whole times to be sure there weren't any mistakes... :)
Dave
By the way, I didn't mean to be super-critical or anything - my post wasn't really directed at anyone, especially not dexter1 specificaly. I'm also sorry for being off-topic...
dexter1 05-14-2002, 05:26 AM Sorry 4 the poor grammar or gammer or gemmer what ever u call it in us.
I though people in Us want work and dont get bother about stupid things.
I thing u sound like English people.
Who always keep not playing the drums of grammer. And wait 4
two months pal u will forget about cpanel.
I ll give u something better then that and that also in Just $400 one time.
RH Robert 05-14-2002, 11:18 PM So show us what you have... where are the screenshots? Or the demo? If you will have this ready in 2 months, you must already be finished coding and in the final stages of beta testing. If you really want us to ignore the atrocious grammer, give us a reason to look past it. We do (at least I do) consider bad grammer a reflection on the company, product, and support. Pal.
dexter1 05-15-2002, 04:50 AM I just want to tell u grammer. people that i dont have time to improve my grammer as i am to busy with the CP.
If u like to read the post read it.
We r on the final stage of testing. Just give me 15 more days and i'll show u the demo.
One more thing i am from India and english is not my native lang.
Moreover i am not one of the sales personnel down here.
I hope u can ignore the english and better concentrate on the CP for ur good. I was here to ask u people if u want something new in whm/cpanel and the hosting controller or not.
I hope u just stick to the topic.
Thanks
dexter1 05-15-2002, 09:37 AM Who told u this is right grammer Mr. Grammer
"you must already be finished coding "
DWood 05-15-2002, 06:46 PM Dexter, I take bad grammar as meaning an unprofessional approach too. As an Englishman living in America, I take pride in you calling people "English" because they care about appearance and grammar. However, I also take offense in the way you meant it.
I don't know where you've been, but people in America do care about appearance. It wouldn't be so bad, but some of this stuff I can't even understand because of the misspellings.
...I thing u sound like uneducated people.
Not trying to be too critical, just letting you know what people look for so you can maybe get some more business.
