I'm thinking about hiring a backup support person or two to handle incidents when I'm not available. Is there an area on this site where I can find such people (need knowledgable and dependable support folks!).

And, what do you think is a fair per incident fee? Paid via paypal

You might also want to search for Outsourcing support for this matter.

"fair" and "per incident fee" don't belong in the same sentence. Essentially you are asking someone to stand-by 24 hours/day possibly without getting paid for keeping themselves available. That's definitely not fair.

If you are looking to hire a person or two -- plan on an hourly wage, paying them for every hour they are scheduled (whether there are "incidents" during that time or not).

If you are looking to pay for incidents on a per-incident basis, plan on hiring your support out to a company like BobCares... an organization which already has people on the clock / on a schedule.

Well also such a person can also create incidences if they are not been paid properly so it wouldbt be fair to you either.

You are making assumptions and are quite mistaken. I'm looking for several folks who are already serving as support for other hosts, so they would only need to be available during times that they are already available for their other hosts. And, of course, only those interested need reply.
