I`ve been looking into using Modernbill as my new billing script. Several resellers are offering licenses for around eight or nine bucks. I was previously using whmAP and was very happy with version 2, however I do not like version 3 and is a step back IMO.
Anyways, I found whmAP version 2 pretty easy to customize/integrate into my site template, by cutting my page into a header and footer system. How easy is Modernbill to integrate and is there any docs for doing so.
Overall, is Modernbill a steeper learning curve than whmAP? Through a reseller, MB is half the price of a leased whmap license.
Thanks.

You really don't need any documentation but a LOT is available if necessary.

MB has more features and you'll have to 'play around' for an hour or 2 to learn most functions. In the end, it is definately worth it.

Skinning the order form is not a problem, the dashboard is quite a bit more tricky and if you are looking for DirectI support it is not there and doesn't look like it will be there for a while. Also keep in mind that version 5 is still in progress, and when it comes out the licensing system/module support will be changed quite a bit.

Unless you need very basic billing functions, there really isn't a viable alternative to ModernBill.

We have been on ModernBill for a year now and would not change the billing system we use. It is a very awesome script. As far as those resellers goes unless they are certified resellers I would go with Modernbill directly. The resellers are in charge of their own support to clients. If the company doesn't know then it might takw awhile for you to receive a response.
The only way I know that is because I have an agreement with Modernbill. Plus, thoses $8.00 licenses are probably only 50 clients licenses. Best of Luck!

Not true, all licenses purchased from MB or a reseller include support directly from MB.

Modern bill is a great solution, I suggest going with a reseller however. The reseller will provide you with support, the MB team is known for their sluggish support. You will probably be looking at $15-20 for an unlimited licence.

Yes, that is incorrect. I'm not sure of your agreement with ModernBill, but customers through resellers get direct support from ModernBill as well as the reseller (if they wish). If a customer does not gain access to the MB support area after purchasing from a reseller, they have most likely purchased a pirated license.
The Certified Reseller program is something new. There are still resellers with ModernBill that are not yet certified, but will be eventually. ModernBill has over 900 resellers.
Yes the $7-$8 are the 50 client leased licenses.

I agree there. I've tried all the billing systems out there, and nothing beats MB IMO.
