I am trying to accomplish something that seems like it should be simple but I am not having any success. I am trying to take several (I have over 500) JPG images and create some sort of Video CD with them so I can view them in my home DVD player. Here's the hardware I have:
JVC XV-SA70BK DVD Player -- for TV SPECS (http://www.findadvdplayer.com/details.cfm?model=jvcxvsa70bk)
Plextor 40/12/40A CDRW -- for PC
I know that I will probably have to convert the JPG files to MPEG format for it to work on the DVD player. I have already read information regarding the DVD player and it should support this. It does support Video CD's. As for software, I am using Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.1 Platinum. It has several additional programs including VideoImpressions and Photo Relay. Each appear to help this cause but again, even after I converted a few images to MPEG and burned them to a CD-R, it doesn't do anything in the DVD player. I have even tried the VideoImpressions program which allows you to create VCD's. Yet, it still didn't work.
Has anyone tried or mastered this? The images are mostly of my daughter and I thought it would be a great idea to have a slideshow that I can play on my TV since my wife dispises the computer...
I'm willing to purchase additional software to do this as long as I know that it is possible.
Thank you for any assistance that is provided.
