Hello!

I was with my host for close to.. 5 years?
Well, I can't take the downtime anymore, so I switched to hostgator.. the sites are fine, but some of the sites I have are database driven i guess? they use mySQL to run.. well, in the 2 days i've been switched, i've had to contact them 4 times about it giving me errors or just not loading..

I don't want to have to switch EVERYONE I host again, but if the problem isnt fixed or it keeps doing that i guess i'll have to ( but i dont want to! )
I want to stick with them, i've heard good things about them ( and bad too )
but i really need my sites up:bawling:

So.. I need a host that offers mySQL, and one thats has good uptime...
I hope i'm posting this in the right spot..

What is your budget for a reseller account? Did you have any particular control panel or features in mind?

Not really, i just need to be able to add the mysql with ease, i'm not very technical lol
CPanel would be good, thats what i've always had, so i'm kind of used to that..

I'm paying $25/month

There are probably hundreds of hosts on this forum that offer mysql. You will probably want to check offer forums, look up those that you have interest in, and check with a host to see if they have uptime monitors in place to show you there uptime.

Yep that's always good. I would also recommend that you ask a lot of presales questions before you choose your host. Don't just rely on reviews here on WHT. Although helpful, you should not base your final decision on someone elses review, but instead from what the knowledge you have gained about not only the industry, but also the hosts that interest you...

Good luck in your search!

yeah... a few pre-sales queries... is a better way to check if the host are responsible and ask them about their uptime time... Let us know Julie whom you went with.
