View Full Version : ResellerZoom BudgetOne
andretenreiro 03-16-2006, 02:10 PM Hi guys!
I plan go with http://www.resellerzoom.com/budget-reseller.shtml
BudgetOne plan. My First intention is to host my 2 sites and gradually resell WebHosting.
What are your justices about ResellerZoom ? I've read somewhere that B1 plan servers and kinda slow and i've read the resources restritions from their webpage:
Budget resellers may not run more than 8 simultaneous processes per user or allow any process to run for longer than 15 CPU seconds. Databases are limited to 8 max user connections.
Thank you!
GigabitONE 03-16-2006, 02:52 PM If you feel that you can't meet what they stated. Then look for a other host as not all host got this restriction
RackFleet 03-16-2006, 03:08 PM RZ has an excellent reputation, but if the plan isn't for you, you could look at going with a higher plan with RZ or you could find another company as the previous reply said.
GigabitONE 03-16-2006, 03:14 PM here another post on RZ http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=491571 might be able to help your decision :)
Commit1 Anthony 03-16-2006, 03:55 PM If you are hesistant about using a companies service, you might want to consider other companies before commiting to them. Good luck in your search.
andretenreiro 03-16-2006, 04:54 PM do you all think my server will have "high loads" ? Support mail from them said i can upgrade anytime.
ldcdc 03-16-2006, 09:35 PM My First intention is to host my 2 sites and gradually resell WebHosting. What kind of websites to you have? How much traffic do they receive?
Perhaps you should heed Resellerhosting's recommendation with regard to their budget plans:
Used by web developers to host multiple low traffic static websites under the same account for one low price. Not recommended for reselling.

IMO the same goes for most low priced reseller packages, no matter the host. :)

My sites have low traffic volume! My main concern is about their server "load time"
If they host ALOT of users on each server, it should be a little "slow"
startsphere 03-16-2006, 10:23 PM I currently have a ResellerZoom account. I am currently hosting 3 websites on it, aout to put a fourth on. They have been working extremely well for me in the past couple months since I signed up.
Good about them:
Excellent Support
Good uptime - havent been down yet, to my knowledge
Enough bandwidth and storage
Bad:
I recently sent out a check for 3 months payment in advance, but they say they never recieved it! This may be the postal services' fault, but they may have gotten it and kept the money for themselves, but i doubt it. Anyway i ahd to pay with credit card

If you wrote a check can't you just view your bank statement and see if it's been cashed or not? That would be my first reaction...
cyberturk 03-17-2006, 04:05 AM on budget servers you may have troubles in your php-mysql pages.
