i dont know if this is true because the registrar that i use automatically propagates with realtime propagation. But i hurd that if you purchase a domain on a monday it will propagate faster then any other day of the week. is this true?

Actually, THAT isn't true - it all depends on the ISP that your talking about. Some update every few hours, and then some update every few days. All depends.
