hi all,
I just recently signed up with Enom's PDQ and I plan to start selling soon.. however I am worried about some clients that might signup domain names for the sake of phissing, scamming, spamming...
As a reseller of Enom, am I considered protected? Since I cant monitor every client that signs up thru there PDQ merchant account..
Your opinions? I emailed enom, they havent replied at all..

hi all,
for the sake of phissing,
Scout

Probably a typo: phishing

I don't use their PDQ since I feel it's overpriced... but to answer your question, you are liable and responsible for EVERY domain that is registered in YOUR account or is registered by a reseller UNDER your account (no matter how far down the line it goes).
Hope that helps.

Ye.. although now I wonder how can such a marketing plan work in the first place.. surely it will be impossible to monitor clients signing up every minute.. and every criminal that signs up under me will be my responsibility and my loss..
well, back to the assessment board.. hehe

Well, it's no different then any other service you might offer (like web hosting). You always have to watch the orders and check for fraud...
Just because someone else builds and manages the site does not absolve you of the responsibility or obligation.
:)
Good luck!
