Can people list the best places that they advertise on? and what works the best? If you can obtain a good listing for your company on the above, You will go along way to securing yourself new potential customers. This doesn't have to necessarily be your main site, As affiliates with experience in obtaining good listings under highly popular keywords are a valuable asset and can obtain good listings for their own site, Then selling your packages via your affiliate program, If you have one, Of course. Affiliate programs are rather good, If you are a honest merchant and pay affiliates on-time and can track sales, And look after your affiliates, Give them added incentives on why they should push your hosting company rather than another hosting company offering a similiar affiliate program. Once you get a few clients, word of mouth will kick in and you'll be set. loballhostin 05-13-2002, 01:05 AM It seems Word of Mouth is biggest.. meaning you should have a good business running, with valuable resources, good support, just outstanding service. I think search engines like yahoo would be to hard to get in top 10 which actually means results, anything past top 10 isn't good results. I like the idea with affilates however. thanks for info though.. helps, and keep me posted on the success of any advertising campigns! I have 1 client that brought me in 4 accounts within the last 8 weeks. mike usalinked 05-13-2002, 10:59 AM PPC or Pay Per Click advertizing works best to start your company. we started using Overture. Once you get a solid base of customers you can stop the PPC advertizing and rely on Word of mouth! Remember, if you are good to your customers they will be loyal and bring others.
