I am in the process of shopping for a business checking account. Many of them restrict the number of monthly check deposits.

If I use a merchant account, will the fund be deposited into my account as credit card purchases are made, or will the fund be deposited once a month, etc?

And will the payment be made in wire transfer, online transfer or check deposit?

You'll usually get batch settlements, once a day, maybe more than once a day as you may have Discover/Amex depositing separately from Visa/MC.

I have a "college access" checking account from Wachovia that I've had for many years, and simply started using as my business account because there are absolutely no restrictions or fees on the account. It would cost a lot more if I did this many transactions on a business account.

With a merchant account, settlements are usually within 2 days of the transaction. However, if you are not in the United States or if you are selling something that is high risk, there may be a delay.

Your merchant account agreement should have all of this in writing

If I incorporate my bussines in US too, can I use one of these merchants like Cardservice Internation which pays within 2 days.?

Please note that the director of the company is not based in US.
