I've been using PrecisionEffect.com to host my website for four months now and feel it is time I give them a review.

Support: I'd have to say support is a 5/5, their usually always on and i can get it through the ticket panel or via aim.

Services: Ranging from cheap webhosting to resellers, they're quite nice.

Features: They use the Plesk control panel for their webhosting and resellers, even though most people have never used Plesk but CPanel, they will help you out every step of the way to provide the best possible hosting experience. Their webhosting features are as about as good as they get.

Pricing: Their pricing is reasonable, even though most think its expensive, i would say not after four long months.

Overall, whenever you contact them for the first time, you will be greeted by some of the nicest people around to help you out, and some of the best support for your troubles.

My website hosted by them: scriptdump.net

You did not mention how the uptime was :)

Thanks for sharing your review. It's nice to read positive reviews instead of the usual negative ones.

The uptime is perfect, never a problem within 4 months (or downtime)

Whois history seems to have you with them since January 25 when the name servers were changed.

Let me try and clear this up...

Joe had a few other domains with us in November (when he first signed up) before he started scriptdump.net (aurora-networks.com I believe?). Maybe he could clarify, but I know that he did switch from a domain to scriptdump.net.

Anyways, thank you for your kind words and taking the time to review us, Joe. We are glad that you are enjoying Precision Effect services, and hope that you expect nothing less than the best. As always, please let us know if you need anything. :)

Perhaps Joe could have cleared that up in his/her post ;) And Joe is a nickname for Kimberly?

Kimberly was also the name of the account holder around 2 months ago, along with what appears to be the domain registrar as well. I'm not sure who Kimberly is, but we've changed the contact info to Joe ever since he started paying with a money order ;)

I am going to have to say that this is a legit review for sure...

I know the upper management of Precission Effect and they are good people who wouldn't pull a stunt like that.

I know that reviews for any company other than site5, lunarpages, etc. are often scrutenized, and I do understand, but...

The fact of the matter is that the customer signed up with a different domain (aurora-networks.com as Steve mentioned earlier) and requested to have this domain switched to his current, scriptdump.net. Please take a look at the whois history for aurora-networks.com, which should clear up any discrepencies. The creation date for the user in clientexec also shows up as 11-13-2005.

I hope this clears everything up. Thank you Joe for the great review :)

why? because it proved the words of the OP to be questionable at best and in one case an outright liar?

I hope you're not questioning our integrity as a host. I don't see how the time he has been hosted with us has anything to do with that thread.

no, but the thread has everything to do with if his reviews can be trusted or not.

Please do tell where you came up with the line "a lot can happen in a year"?

I thought you meant that that thread is a year old, when it is only 15 weeks old. I guess you could have meant that he has hosted with you for a year, but that too is right around 15 weeks.

I hope you're not questioning our integrity as a host

If you were referring to either the length of time since that thread, or the length of time he has hosted with you, then yes I am questioning your integrity. If you are referring to something else, then I will judge when when you tell what it is.

If you would have done further research into this thread you would have seen that JoeS used to run a website called 'hltvservice.org' (http://whois.sc/hltvservice.org) with us in November. HLTVService.org provided free Counter-Strike (http://counter-strike.net/) Half-Life Television (HLTV) services to gaming teams. He used that P3 mentioned in that thread to run them.

Just because someone is looking for a dedicated server doesn't mean they are going to host their website on it. Just because his age does not match his profile doesn't mean that he is a liar. If he wanted to hide his age, he wouldn't have posted he was 17 in that thread. I'm sure JoeS can clear this up when he comes online and reads your replies.

What are you going on about?

oops 19 weeks

If he wanted to clear up the lie or theother stuff he probably would have in the thread which he was caught out in.

Now you are just flaming, grow up and find a new thread.

Dave B, you should take into consideration the fact that we have no control over who posts reviews pertaining to us. Keep the personal attacks for yourself.

If a mod stumbles upon this, please close the thread as it has served its purpose after the first post.

I don't understand how it is unnecessary, it just proves he found what he was looking for. Anyhow it make sense anyways, he does have scripts and programs for the enhancement of an online game.

I'm sorry, I will be more blatant.

Please compare the materials he has on his site to their Terms and Conditions ( http://www.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/runescape/terms/terms.ws)
Also check out their Rules of Conduct (http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/runescape/viewcategory.ws?cat_id=823&ref=main)

I don't know if this goes against your AUP (http://www.precisioneffect.com/aup/), but it goes against theirs. Maybe you don't mind their Terms and Conditions, or do you have a special agreement with them?

dgarbus

We are in no way affiliated with runescape and his site is not violating our AUP.

This thread does not need any more posts.

Thank you to everyone that contributed to this thread in a civilized manner.

Your no way affiliated with them, but you have a client hosting cheat programs that violate their Terms and Conditions. Anyhow I guess you won't mind me sending a letter for their personal input on this matter?

I really don't know anything about Runescape, etc. so I am not sure if your claims are even valid, but since when was WHT the correct avenue for abuse claims? ...thought so.

Dave B,

Just like you have done many times in other threads, you are *bashing*, it's time to move on with life. As PE-Dave said, someone looking for a dedicated server has nothing to do with having a website hosted by PE.

Honestly, I think this is a valid review and have yet to find anything (that is valid) opposing that.

Maybe it's time for a </thread> as this isn't going anywhere further?
Thank you.

I'm not sure what that's all about, maybe look back in the history further? I could have sworn he had used that domain with our services, but I can guarantee you that aurora-networks.com was hosted with us.
