I am looking for a script which will allow me to create a kind of shop but without the buying part.

So it effectively showst the products with a picture, price and description. And the shop owner can login and change the product information.

I hope that all makes sense.

Does anyone know of a tutorial or script which is free and do something similar.

Sure, you are looking for a Catalog application. There are several out there and are very easy to set up. Hot Scripts will most likely have a wealth of Catalog web apps.
