seems as if hostrocket and all its domains is down...

I'm hosted there but since everything is down no support can be given =(

anyone have any idea on why its like this?

They're not coming up for me either, but I guess they probably know about the problem already so I wouldn't worry about not being able to contact their support.

Here's a traceroute, though from looking at it, it doesn't seem like a network problem. I think though that every company from time to time will experience outages no matter how redundant their network (even Yahoo has been down). The real test is if these things happen constantly, or once or twice a year. And also how quickly they are resolved.

say brendan, the dos attacks did they come from some isp in bulgaria?

just curious..., I might have some info for you if they came from there

also was it your network that was attacked or some specific server?
