Have you worked with shoutcast and linux cause its whole different story with linux as i have dealt with linux part of shoutcast so explain which platform you work with for shoutcast.

No maxim... i just want to know if Lightsky has worked with linux shoutcast cause its pretty different if you want to be dnas server and be broadcaster from same machine.

If anyone who is experienced enough in linux through shoutcast and can be a reliable person. Look for my post within the next couple of weeks because I will be looking for someone.

I think it is only fair to add that Ken has done a lot of work for Xcellweb Internet Services over the last year or so, he has pretty much managed our shoutcast servers and consistently works to a high level of professionalism and excellence in everything he has done for us.

I would highly recommend him to anyone for looking Shoutcast work.

Sorry mate wasnt trying to hijack but could have told you how to run linux based shoutcast had you not known, oh well sorry if it sounded like hijacking but just wanted to share knowledge unlike few who dont bother to do that.

Dude, setting up/managing shoutcast servers is incredibly easy, but it's just time consuming.

These days control panels are all the rage.
