Webreseller network is very very fast and impressive! I'm not sure if Rackshack can beat it though. You can test it yourself:

I'm using WebReseller service and they are good in my record, I have read complaints about RackShack but I haven't used them in past. What I notice is RS customers had some bad complaints which may be true and give me a signal that you have to use RS with caution. From what I read about those RS complaints, they include bad customer support, give IPs which are marked with SPAM by other filter, hardwares failure can't be settled within reasonable time, while I have not heard that happened in WebReseller.

IMO avoid Rackshack. I am seriously considering your other choice. Sales and Support are something that should be expected but clearly with Rackshack you dont get it. Good luck.

RS had nothing but praise months ago. They now host almost 6000 servers. They are going to get sour grapes who take every chance to bitch and bash. Webreseller has just recentally started offering similar RS type accounts. (I know, because I remember them from last year. They never offered the stuff they do now.) They now have a growing customer base and can provide better support to a smaller client base. But I assure you, give it a few months. These same people will back bitching and bashing and then moving on to the "next best thing". Take this into account.

I have used neither, but as an outsider who has been coming here for almost a year and a half, I can tell you what I see and can give you a pretty good idea about what you WILL see in the furture. Only people who have frequented here for a long time will fully understand what I say.

I would go to the RS forums too and ask around. Many of their users who have a positive experience don't come here. Sour grapes tend to come here. Webreseller may be the best choice. But don't limit yourself to what tends to be the "in host for the moment" around here. Seek other opinions before you decide.

We have certain quotas that we work with and for every certain number of new customers we hire new techs to handle the demand. We have done research for quite some time on this and understand that there is a demand for not only good prices but quality and responsive service.

Our entire business model is not based on "How much can we make", but how can we increase profitability WITHOUT sacrificing service and support. Thus, you will never see us put 100's of servers available at one time. We allow every promotion and customer time to ask questions and learn prior to introducing many new servers.

We will continue to live by this model if we have 100 customers or as you point out 6000...

Thank You

Great Robert. I wish you luck. Honestly.

But no offense, how is this different then what offer companies do or what they say? This is the same prinicple that guides hundreds. The bottom line is can you make money, enought to handle burn and churn offering low cost services? I look forward to seeing. My opinion is that anyone who attempts to offer similar RS plans *without volume*, will not succeed. But that is just me looking at it from a business stand point. I have already seen a few similar places go under, right here, on these boards offering RS pricing.

Volume in nominal amounts does work if you use strategic leveraging. Your point is certainly well taken, but careful research has been put into this... I thank you you greatly for your input..

Rackshack does have some real good deals but I like WebReseller better all around.

Reasons are:

Great support ...they answer every question ...nevermind how small or the ones they really don't have to....all in a timely fashion.

Great specials.....alittle more added features then Rackshack.

Great server speed.

Great prices.

Rackshack I never been with them I can only go with what I see and hear......I heard some bad things ....not real bad .....fixable things. If at this time I had to go with a provider for my server I'd go with WebReseller still.

One other thing they are local to me.......which makes it all the better.....but thats not my main reason......read those main reasons above.

but thats just me....... :)
